I have listened to all of the 2006 podcats thus far and have enjoyed them thoroughly!

Was wondering if any of you geeks have heard of GamedayRitual.com? It is basically fantasy baseball on steroids. I am thinking of trying it out this year.

Hey, GC!

No, I haven't thought about it. I have seen it, but I am so tapped with fantasy leagues right now that I can't even fathom adding another.

If you want exciting head to head play, I have played baseballmanager.com for the last 13 or so years. You wake up everyday to a headline page.

162 head to head games a year.

10 teams per league. Top 4 get to go on to a playoffs, where random stats are used by your players, from a statistics pool of actual stats from the season.

Really fun.

Reedster,

I might give BaseballManager.com a try, too. I like the 162 games idea ... more realism the better!

What is the cost of Baseball Manager?

I am planning on using this blog to document my 2006 Fantasy Baseball Experience.

Both, GDR and BM are not allowing signups at this point in time ... until then, I will be looking for a league to join.

It is expensive. $75, last year, if I remember right. I have played in this league for 13 years. The league I was in was the most competitive league in the entire game last year. We may have an open spot or two if you are interested, so let me know.

I am looking forward to reading it!

Re: looking for league to join, have you joined the BaseballGeeks Inaugural Roto League? We still have an opening.

Rob, if I remember correctly, we were not only the toughest last year, but the year before we were in the top 2 toughest of all the AU BBM leagues all year long. I didn't win the "grand prize" because we finished a close second overall.
