On Friday a friend of mine emailed me about a last minute opening in his 10 Team 5x5 Classic Roto league. March 20, 2006 Preparing for the GDR FAB (By: Green Caesar) Well, my GameDayRitual FAB starts tomorrow at 1:00pm EST. The FAB (Free Agent Blitz) is basically an auction drawn out over 6 days. Starting tomorrow at 1:00pm, Team #1 will put a player out there to start the bidding, followed by Team #2 ten minutes later and Team #3 ten minutes after that … this process goes on until all 12 GMs have put 5 players up for auction (60 players per day). A player stays on the market for 24 hours after being put up for auction. March 2, 2006 GameDay Ritual (By: Green Caesar) Hey everyone, www.gamedayritual.com finally opened up for the 2006 season! What is GameDayRitual? I'm not sure, but it sounds promising. This will be their second season. I saw it advertised on a fantasy baseball site last season an it piqued my interest, but I decided to not do it (joined a work league instead) There is no draft or auction for GDR ... they use a unique Free Agent Blitz process that I hear is frighteningly addictive.
